Slogue circular fashion workshops present textile reuse as a form of creative empowerment for those ready to challenge the status quo of an industry that at its high end is cliquey and elitist and at its low is unethical and wasteful.

Our Youth workshops are youth-led and encourage collaborative and spontaneous design processes. Thrift Flipping Days and T-Shirt Yarn Crochet and Macrame classes are run by our roster of passionate young educators, some fresh out of fashion school and working hard to make positive changes within a broken industry.

Our adult events are run by a multi-generational roster of circular fashion talents and include team building workshops and free public workshops courtesy of our collaboration with Lolo the Vintage Caravan. For private groups, school incursions, holiday camps, council-run events, caravan pop-ups and birthday party enquiries, email joannegambale@slogue.com.au.

  • Slogue x Lolo caravan pop-ups

Slogue takes circular fashion, making and styling on the road in Lolo the Gypsy Caravan.

Magically transforming into a creative workspace wherever it parks, Slogue x Lolo brings an immersive, enriching experience to your hood, rouse a newfound respect for textiles. Ask your council to invite us to the next community event of festival and learn new skills such as hand stitching, darning and embroidery in an inclusive communal atmosphere in the great outdoors.

  • Youth circular fashion education

We offer highly customisable private classes in many aspects of circular fashion, from ‘thrift flipping’ for budding fashionistas to T-shirt yarn crochet. Run as one-offs or courses, these can be organised ad hoc to work for busy parents during school holidays and term-time afternoons.

Our school incursions are best when delivered via Lolo the caravan and work for primary age (freestyle textiles play, hand stitching) and high school, aligning with various curriculum topics in year 7, 8 and HSC.

  • Team building events

Workplace team-building events and corporate ‘family fun day’ ideas are endless when it comes to circular fashion. Our talents can teach crochet, upcycling old clothes and basic repairs, but our favourite is a communal embroidery project, where participants learn embroidery and beading before collaborating on a communal project.

Whether your business is fashion related or not, we all wear clothes and should learn best practice when it comes to reversing the fast fashion effect.
